- How it Works -
SmallBuys' function
is to liaise between two parties:
-
The Requester
-
The Requestee
The Requester
These are
the individuals that request the products to be placed on SmallBuys'
web site because they're dissatisfied with the company's attitude towards
small quantity orders.
The Requestee
These are
the companies which are usually distributors of the products being requested.
They find small quantity orders uneconomic so impose either a minimum
quantity or minimum price order charge.
Companies can improve
their customer relations by recommending SmallBuys to these potential
customers instead of just turning them away.
Companies should
refer to our Business
Page for more details.
What does SmallBuys
actually
sell?
SmallBuys
isn't an ordinary online store as it sells products requested by you
that no other stockists supply.
We have
the potential to sell products that are either:
-
new
-
old
-
second hand
-
obsolete
basically anything
from Corn Dollies to Components. So as our slogan says:
"Tell Us
What To Sell"
New Products
Products
that are still in production but can only be purchased in multiples can
now be purchased through SmallBuys in small quantities.
SmallBuys
exists to consolidate multiple requests of small quantities
of a product until either the Minimum Order Quantity - MOQ, the
Statutory
Sub Multiple - SSM i.e. a complete pack, or the Discount Quantity
is reached.
Old Products
Certain
products become classics and are much sought after for many years
after the manufacturers have ceased production in preference to newer
products. However if a demand is shown, they may agree to create a limited
edition to satisfy customer needs.
SmallBuys
can consolidate requests to demonstrate to the manufacturers that there
is still in fact a real demand.
Second Hand and Obsolete
Products
As older
products become faulty and need repair, finding component parts for these
proves to be more and more difficult as time goes by.
SmallBuys
can support the spares and repair trades by offering them
a mechanism to publicize their requirements.
